Senior Creative Manager

Already considered one of the most ground-breaking brands in the world Gymshark are about to take the brand’s creative output to another level; we’re looking for a storyteller, someone who can conceive and organise some of the most innovative content and campaigns ever seen.

 

Reporting to the Brand Director the creative manager will be accountable for leading a team of graphic designers, copywriters, photographers and videographers and driving impactful, creative campaigns that reinforce and strengthen brand identity. You should have good commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, you will work closely with our customer insights team to understand our market and deliver inspiring creative content that resonates with our core consumers.

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Develop original creative concepts to disrupt the sports apparel market
  • Provide direction for the efficient execution of creative campaigns
  • Deliver campaigns that are on brand, delivered on time and within budget
  • Communicate and present creative concepts to senior management team
  • Work closely with peers to ensure continuity and consistency of campaigns
  • Introduce relevant new technologies to support to ongoing development of the creative team
  • Act as a brand ambassador pushing the boundaries of creative concepts 

Key skills:

  • 5+ years in a creative position for an apparel or FMCG brand
  • Good understanding of the fitness apparel industry
  • Extremely creative with a strong design background
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop the full potential from projects and to take advantage of new developments.
  • Combine a creative, innovative approach with commercial ideas.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision and guidance.
  • Strong team player and man manager - able to gain trust, respect and confidence quickly and effectively.
  • The proven ability to negotiate and drive performance of external as well as internal teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – being able to quickly establish effective relationships at all levels (internal and external) with gravitas and strength.
  • Strong and convincing presentation skills – able to get ideas across quickly and effectively and gain relevant buy-in and support.
