Reporting to Gymshark’s Market Research Analyst we are looking for a Market Research Assistant to join the Customer Insight team. This role is critical to supporting Gymshark’s Insight function, enabling better business decisions to be made by ensuring insight is delivered across the business efficiently and effectively. You will play a key role in supporting the Market Research Analyst in designing, organising and delivering research projects and bringing the findings to life. A large part of this will involve ensuring multiple research projects are running smoothly and creating communication pieces to interact with participants or inform them of up-coming research projects. This role would be perfect for someone who is interested in learning how different research methods are used in practice and enhancing their knowledge of how insight is used to inform strategic decisions within the business. 

What you'll be doing...

  • Support the Market Research Analyst in the day-to-day running of the exciting research projects
  • Taking ownership of the ‘Research Roadmap’ and ensuring everything is in place for launch on upcoming projects
  • Briefing different teams on requirements for participant emails and other branded content at the start of every new research project and then ensuring we receive files/completed briefs back in time for project launch
  • Forging a close relationship with the Creative and Brand teams for the development of material to share back with research participants and ensuring what we are delivering is on-brand
  • Support with building simple surveys, analysis of data, charting and report development
  • Supporting in moderating qualitative research projects such as online communities and taking notes during focus groups
  • Having an opinion on interesting insights/verbatim comments you have noticed and sharing them with the team
  • Help with recruiting participants for new research projects

What you'll need...

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent
  • Good IT literacy and confidence using Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Strong literacy skills and communication skills
  • Good listener and excellent organisational skills
  • Be willing to facilitate and have the ability to learn qualitative and qualitative research
  • Ability to interpret simple data table
  • The ability to use initiative in challenging situations
  • The ability to learn and develop new and/or existing skills
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
