Market Research Analyst

Reporting to our Customer Insight Director, this role is critical in helping Gymshark make better business decisions, by improving our understanding of the fitness apparel market and our current and potential customers.

Key Accountabilities

  • You will be the go to person for research projects, coordinating projects internally and externally to produce regular market updates and generate actionable insight
  • You will undertake desk research and external research, drawing upon industry research resources to provide relevant qualitative and quantitative insight to the business
  • You will identify and implement new research resources/tools that will improve Gymshark’s understanding of the market, customers and brand performance versus our competitors
  • Creation and running of regular customer experience surveys, including data analysis and interpretation of survey results
  • Conduct primary research, through the use of surveys, focus groups, or any other suitable means, to improve business understanding of specific issues, trends and customers
  • Develop strong relationships with all departments in order to position data and insight at the heart of decision making processes


Key Skills 

  • Enjoy working with quantitative data, qualitative data, numbers, statistics and enjoy analysing datasets
  • Highly numerate and commercially aware
  • Confident in running research projects and coordinating results
  • Strong communications skills, with the ability to tell a compelling 'story’ when presenting research findings
  • Have strategic grasp of the ‘big picture’
  • Experience within an insight, research or analytics role
